Bunny Mag Issue 002 Launches as part of F_Festival

Bunny Mag Issue 002 Reimagines the Witch in Second Issue of Magazine

Bunny Mag is back with it’s second issue after the successful sell out of ISSUE 001 in September 2016. The debut issue “Work/Labour” dealt with ideas of class and labour as defined by theorist Hannah Arendt and sold out in seven days.

The new second issue launched at F_Festival in Temple Bar Gallery in Dublin on 11th of March and is titled “Fair Is Foul”. Taken from Macbeth, the line “fair is foul and foul is fair” is spoken by the three witches to Macbeth on the heath as part of a prophecy.

This issue features work from Amanda Coogan, Bunny Rogers, Cherry Styles, Melanie Gaydos, Linda Stupart & more. Fair as Foul asks what we might inherit from a time that lived through a period of trials and burnings and how that shaped our society that came after. This “Fair Is Foul” issue aims to create a multifaceted portrait of the witch that takes into account the history of magic but also allows for contemporary ideas of what witchcraft might look like today.
